Summer Film Camp 2012
April 2, 2012 - Weeks 1, 3 and 4 are now full. Week 2 has only two spots left. We are taking names for an additional week in August or if a spot opens up. So if you want to sign someone up - use CONTACT US! and tell us.
In 2012 Rooney Productions, Theatre Wakefield and the Wakefield Community Youth Centre will offer four weeks of Summer Film Camp for the community's teenagers. We have added a week because in 2011 we had to turn away 11 potential participants. Each week is limited to 12 young people who will write, film, edit, and score a short story or documentary over 5 days. Camp is intense and varied. Everyone has an opportunity to work with our professional equipment, to perform in the film, help create the sound track, do continuity and all the behind-the-scenes jobs involved in film making.
